A bit of vacation... Part one

Well, its been a while since I last update my blog post so here I am back again writing things that have no relation to topic at hand. Few days (actually hours from me starting to write on this keyboard) ago I'm going to Pulau Perhentian trip with my fellow classmates. I am sort of being forced at first but anyhow I would like to get out more often and do more physical activities than just to sit around at home being keyboard warrior like I usually do.

From something I am forced to do, this trip soon grows on me, I kept thinking about it during classes that I can't focus at times and my friends update on facebook page with fancy pics of the island doesn't help either, snorkeling, white sandy beaches, clear waters just makes me drools. I am to know that this island is mostly for tourist so the things there are expensive thus I am prepared by buying some usual supplies like bread and instant noodles. The trip is just 3 days and 2 nights so its a short one, during the first day there is no voucher for us to eat so I get that covered.

When we arrived at the jetty its about half past six in the morning, we have a bit of breakfast there before off to the island. The journey there took about 45 minutes, the sea are pretty calm that morning and being able to see sunrise is just breathtaking. Its just something I haven't see for a long time, nor that I have rode any boat for quite some time, the last one I rode is in Pulau Redang which is...oh wait I just got there a couple of months back but that one is on a big ferry so the experience is different. A wind in the hair and sea as far as eye can see its just an awesome sight to behold. Sadly I am afraid to hold my phones to take pictures and videos for too long, it felt like its going to get dunk in the sea in no time at all.

When we arrived, because of the water is shallower there is an exchange from big boat to smaller boats to get to the shore. Lots of my friends say this kind of boat will give more thrills if we rode this boat to the mainland...but I'd say it won't be a comfortable ride despite that it will be fun nontheless. When we arrived in front of the resort, immediately I feel the sand beneath my feet. 'Great very fine sand!' I said to myself, because one of the things I REALLY like when I'm on beaches is not going swimming, but to build SANDCASTLES! I'm such a kid at heart but I don't like to show it because it feels...weird. The place that we were staying is Arwana Resort. Moving on, and before I get to my room, there is a good sized pool in front of me. I like swimming, thus this is another good place for me to relax and swim. Apparently all my friend having the same idea so we all changed then take a good morning swim. Refreshing after a long journey from Salak Tinggi by car.

To be continued....
