While I'm having the short Perhentian vacation, I thought everyone there just going for vacation. So I expecting lots of activities in the evening. Most of the tourist there are from abroad, I don't want to guess where they from but its what we called 'mat salleh', nearly 90% of them. So I expecting lots of volleyball in the evening, and swimming as well. Indeed I am right, but what I don't expect is in the afternoons. While I'm having a stroll along the seaside about half past three I expecting a lot of sunbathing activity going on, but to my surprise they were actually reading! Yes, this is one of the things Malaysian people DON'T do, with average books of just TWO PER YEAR. No wonder most of us are not illiterate and having no basic knowledge in everything. It stump me to my core, even if they do open up electronic tablets, I know that is not just an ordinary tablet but a Kindle, which is a portable e-book reader and I am right when I walking behind one I see them reading novels. It's just amazing that these people really don't waste their time even in vacation but still somehow finds time reading books.
How many Malaysian actually reading book for their past times? Let me give an answer to that, not a single person. They would rather wasting time doing other things like reading useless facebook stuff that even if there is some post about facts, some of them were wrong so I really worried what Malaysian people might turn up into. They don't know much in the first place but in the end being fed by lies. I don't read much books but I do have some goals on what I should understands in certain things. I always sets up something to keep my brain works and not to be stagnant in the things I already know, instead push my brain into overdrive so my intelligent quotient won't dumb down because I don't think for a long period of time. I don't know about you but I do worried that soon my kids were sucked into the things most kids do nowadays, doing facebook all day, playing Angry Birds and listening to trashy songs that have no meaning to it. I wish and hope that it's just all in my mind and I would be a good dad and find a good wife to accomplish my goals to ensure that my generations to come won't be what kids nowadays do.
And I just read about one 15 years old girl who are reportedly to be kidnapped but actually is a lie, all that she did is to follow some random guy that she 'love' and live with him, and that guy is 26 years old. DISGUSTING, what kids nowadays really think? I blame goverment for allowing some garbage drama on TV, I don't watch them but because at my rented house I actually live in the living room itself so I did heard the drama words and the songs when my friend watching them, those drama that shows during maghrib prayer time, I did heard some slutty words and slutty songs, something along the line of 'gigit2 telinga kecilmu' What on God Earth is wrong with those people? Those are only for married couple to do, and making such songs would just boost youngsters to actually do that. And then they all scratching their head when we found a lot of dead and abandoned babies anywhere like they don't know nothing about it. I don't see the drama but from the things I heard its all stupid. Sometime I just want to stop living here and just go somewhere where I won't be able to heard and see what these idiots do, and have my own life there without problems.
